I love this phone but..... by CARMAN1992 Jul 7, 2005 I do love this phone I have had it for a week and a half.Verizon wireless sent it to me within 24hrs of ordering it. Gotta love that Verizon service! The only issues I have had with this phone is the voice mail notification I don't receive any notification that I have voice mail. I have set the notifications in the settings menu correctly but that doesn't seem to matter. I love the WiFi, and EVDO, and all of the PDA features. The only thing that disappoints me is the fact that this phone doesn't have the camera that was initially designed with this phone. I do love the fact that I had the i600 and all of the car chargers and home chargers are compatible with this phone! Saved some more mula with that. Over all its great. Samsung keep up the great work. does the i730 have a camera Ned for taking very nice high resolution shots. Pros: What the Samsung does have is a sleek design that separates itself from the run of the mill phones. You can even make your sliding out the keyboard answer calls. It is very fast, Very fast, no VERY FAST. Very good processor. The EVDO works great and the Wifi as well. I would have liked to be able to surf while still being able to receive a call, but it does not allow that. After further research, I found none of the phones do that, so it is not a bug of Samsung, just PDA phones in general. Those of you familiar with the Pocket PCs will feel right at home with this phone. Being able to enter characters in 5 different ways makes utilizing the Calendars, web, etc much more realistic. Though nearly all PDA phones have built-in keyboards nowadays, I like the fact that Samsung's hides from view when not needed.
